Abstract

This is qualitative research with four families who experienced sexual abuse and mistreatment, assisted online due to the COVID 19 global health crisis. The Vigilant Care (CV) program, enabled an intervention research based on care records in a public health institution with the aim of entering the field of narratives of families in situations of abuse and mistreatment. The approach used was dialogical sociodrama. Group participants talk about their realities and sufferings. The results revealed by the Reflective Thematic Analysis (ATR) reflect the importance of the dialogue process between parents, the reflection of previously unperceived meanings. The intervention fulfilled its role by revealing to families the potential they have for transformation, strengthening and autonomy in their future projects, such as being committed, showing affection, having more dialogue, being more friends, observing risks and being protective.
